I'll be teaching this structure soon again and enjoyed making the first sample, so thought I'd make another one slightly larger... If you live in the Calgary area check my "Workshop News" on my blog for class info.

I'm using a die "Flourished Butterfly" from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design.

I'm also using a bunch of rubber quote stamps from Quietfire Design

("Friendship Quotemarks" (discontinued); (""Sometimes Said Pooh..."); ("Hold A True Friend..."); ("A Friend Is Someone hoe Knows..."); ("I Wouldn't Have Missed Being..."); ("In A Perfect World" 4pce set).

Cut, scored and folded my my 3 colors of cardstock (Recollections Double Sided Textured 12 x 12 pad "Jewel"). I used both sides of the 3 greens in the pack. I prefer to do the star with 5 panels rather than the 7. You get to see more of the interior pages when open.

All the pages are basically the same - a quote die cut from circle or oval sets etc. All are stamped with one of the 3 greens from Versafine Clair and clear or white embossed.

I used the Altenew "Playful Plumeria" set for all the flowers and leaves.

Die cut and punched the butterflies and dragonfly from decorated paper from my stash.

Added the 2 color green gauze ribbon. Final touch added nail art rhinestones to the insect bodies and larger rhinestones to the full flower centers. and Liquid Pearls to the stamen of the side view flower.
