ID: "May/19 - Triangle Corner Pop Up Card - ECD Happy Birthday, Eat Drink & Be Merry, Make A Wish" card
size: 6"w x 6"H (card closed opens to 12"sq)

Created: May 29, 2019
Modified:

A new structure for me that one of the gals showed at our last get together... so had to make one. Probably won't make another. You can't put 3D items on it or it won't close flat and I don't like that I can't see the front and inside at the same time. Sigh!!

I'm using a several die sets "Happy Birthday", "Eat, Drink & Be Merry" 5pce set and "Make A Wish" from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available from Quietfire Design HERE, HERE and HERE

I'm using a clear quote and design element stamp from Quietfire Design "Happy Birthday Collection" 8pce set and available on Elizabeth Craft Designs HERE

Scored and folded my pink cardstock. Fold in half both ways (vertical and horizontal). Fold upper squares in half to create triangles. Decorate the bottom right square for the front.

I adhered a scrapbook paper (Provo Craft "Illuminations" 12"sq pad), both on the front and inside.

Die cut the "Happy Birthday" from a dark blue cardstock and created a shadow layer from white cardstock. Adhered both to front.

Inside opened out

Inside: Die cut the "Eat, Drink & Be Merry" from the dark blue cardstock. Adhered to corners.

Die cut the "Make a Wish" from white cardstock. Applied Versamark and embossed with Pearlescent embossing powder twice.

Used my electronic cutter to cut the circle easel structure and front piece from white cardstock and the overlays from a mid toned blue cardstock. Scored, folded and adhered everything together and then onto the card floor.

Stamped the candles on white cardstock, fussy cut around them. Applied Quickie glue to the candle bases and sprinkled with blue micro fine glitter. Added a small streak of Liquid Pearls "Buttercup" to each flame. Adhered to floor to act as my stopper.

Stamped the sentiment using Distress "Picket Fence" and embossing with white embossing powder.

Added a small piece of velcro on the left bottom square at the upper left hand corner to hold the card in place when open. Since this section is hidden I left it bare for a salutation or whatever...

easel portion flat.
