ID: Mar/19 - Oval Easel Best Catch - ECD Fun - Have An Awesome Day - HB" card
size: 5"w x 7"H

Created: March 8, 2019

I just got my order from Stampin Up "Best Catch" along with a few others for another day... Also at our last gal's get together, one of the gals gave me this used drier sheet... Sheesh these guys are constantly giving me things to see what I will come up with. BIG GRIN. I guess I will be surprising them

I'm using a die "Fun" 2pce set from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE

I'm also using a clear quote stamp ("Happy Birthday Collection" 8pce set) from Quietfire Design also available from Elizabeth Craft Designs HERE

Scored and folded my white cardstock to create the easel structure. Die cut with Spellbinders "Grand Ovals" die set. Cut a piece same size as card and adhered to card front then cut a piece of Mid toned blue paper and adhered to card front.

Sponged some Distress Oxides onto white cardstock ("Salty Ocean"; "Twisted Citron"; and "Faded Jeans") blending each area into the next area. Adhered the drier sheet to the oxide background. Die cut with the oval die set and adhered to card front.

Stamped the fisherman using Versafine Black Onyx and my Tim's Stampin Platform. I knew I would have to repeat the stamping a few times to work on the drier sheet...

I created silhouette images of the various other stamps from the set (Stamping Up "Best Catch") and cut electronically, then stamped using various Distress pads. Adhered the pieces to the card front.

Die cut the leafy branches from various scrap green cardstock. Adhered to card front.

Punched out a couple mini dragonflies (Marvy) from an alcohol decorated paper and adhered to front.

On the floor:

Die cut a smaller oval from the blue paper and adhered to floor.

Stamped the sentiments using Distress Picket Fence and embossing with white embossing powder.

Die cut the "Fun" from another menu cardstock, then cut a shadow layer from white cardstock. Adhered both together, then adhered it partially to floor to act as my stopper.
