Butterfly haven in a field of wildflowers. Again one of the gals at our Wednesday get together was making card in a box cards and since I hadn't made one in over a year, thought I'd play again... My size and theme is totally different than here is. I wanted mine to be extra wide and the bottom section to be as low as possible to get a ton of extra details in.

PS the card folds flat for mailing.

I'm using a die "Happy Birthday small" from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE 

And I'm using a rubber stamp quote from Quietfire Design ("May The Wings...Butterfly Circle Design"5pce set) 

Cut, scored and folded my white cardstock from an 8.5 x 11" cardstock . Adhered a light green toned patterned paper (Paper Wishes).

Created silhouette images of all the flowers and butterflies (Chocolate Baroque "Briar Rose Butterfly", "Harebell Butterfly", "Honeysuckle Butterfly" & Thistle Butterfly") stamp sets. Electronically cut them from white cardstock, stamped with Versafine Black Onyx and painted with watercolors.

Stamped the quote using the black and clear embossed on white cardstock. Die cut using Elizabeth Craft Designs "Stitched Ovals" die set. Sponged around edges with a Distress green.

Adhered all the various elements inside of box.

Die cut the "Happy Birthday" from a pink cardstock and adhered to flap.

On the outside, I sponged some "Shabby Shutters along the edges and then adhered panels from the same scrapbook page.
