This is a piece I created for our Guild's next Journal with the theme "The Heart of The Matter".

The inside of card will be finished at a later date... and is now finished...

Scored and folded my red textured cardstock to create the top fold card. 

Calligraphed the quote using a 3.8mm Parallel Pen and Sumi ink on white cardstock in a funky bone hand. Die cut with Elizabeth Craft Designs "Stitched Ovals" die set. Adhered to card front. Shaded the "O's" with a red colored pencil.

Scanned, resized and printed out a bunch of my "Early One Morning" quotes I recently did on white cardstock. 

Manipulating my rose cut shape to fall where my quote circles were and then cut with my Electronic cutter. Shaped flowers using a quilling tool. Adhered to card front.

Die cut the leaves from an alcohol decorated background. Adhered between the roses.

Raided my stash of die cut words, inked with Distress Picket Fence and embossed with white embossing powder twice. Adhered all to inside.
