I've been itching to do some watercolor painting... and this is another one of those leafy type.. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this one too...

I'm using an A Way With Words dies  "Happy Birthday"  from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE

I'm also using a clear quote stamp from Quietfire Design ("Birthday Collection") 8 pce set also available from Elizabeth Craft Designs HERE

Drew my Giant Philodendron leaves with a pencil on cold press watercolor paper, then outline with a black Sharpie pen. Painted with watercolors (Chromium Oxide, Ultramarine & Paynes Grey) and quite a bit of water... When dry added veins first with a pointed nib and Copic White opaque mixed with water, then a black line like a shadow with the fine tip of a Zig Writer.

Created an electronic cut file of the Macaw bird (Starving Artistamps), cut it out and stamped it with Versafine Black Onyx. Colored with Prisma colored pencils.

Stamped the quote with the black and clear embossed.

Trimmed and dhered to the front.

On the floor: Die cut the Happy Birthday from a greenish blue cardstock.

Die cut the ovals (Nellie's multi frame set) from a white and the aqua cardstock. Adhered both together and then the word die cut. Adhered the assembly to the floor with 3D foam tape to act as my stopper.
