I'm continuing to play with my watercolors... all the stamped images were done on cold press watercolor paper and painted mainly with Winsor & Newton paints and or Distress pads.

I'm using an A Way With Words dies  "Four Seasons" 4pce set  from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE

ID: MC Mar/18 - Accordion Seasons - ECD Seasons - All You Have To Do Is Call card
size: 4"w x 8"H (accordion closed)
opens to 20"w

Created: March 13, 2018
Modified:

I'm also using a bunch of quote stamps from Quietfire Design

("In the Midst of Winter..."); ("Spring Has Returned..."); ("In Summer The Song..."); ("Autumn is a Second Season...")

Also using an electronic Font cut file from Suzanne available on Silhouette. PS it works as a regular print font for emails and in Word etc. Click image to purchase.

Stamped the various elements using Distress pads, masking the fence where needed. (Penny Black "Snow Fence", "Birds & Blooms", "Berry Bevy"; Impression Obsession "Clouds"). Moved inks around with a paintbrush.

Stamped the quote using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed.

Die cut the "Winter from DoCraft silver mirror cardstock.

Trimmed down and adhered to a light aqua cardstock.

Stamped the "Cherry Blossoms"  Local King Rubber using the black and clear embossing. Painted with watercolors.

Stamped the quote with the black and clear embossed.

Die cut the "Spring" from the aqua cardstock.

Trimmed down and adhered to a deep blue cardstock.

Stamped the "Jumbo Iris" Inkadinkado with Versafine Toffee and embossed with gold embossing powder. Masked the 1st Iris and stamped it again. Painted with watercolors.

Masked both Iris and stamped the background (Impression Obsession "Script") using Distress "Pumice Stone".

Stamped the quote with the black and clear embossed.

Die cut the "Summer" from a purple cardstock, inked with Versamark and embossed with Emerald Creek "Mardis Gras" then re-embossed with "Frosted Plum"

Trimmed down and adhered to a purple cardstock.

Stamped the "Flower Lanterns" Penny Black, using Distress pads and my Tim's Stampin Platform. Moved color around with a paintbrush. Sponged some browns around the edges.

Stamped the quote with the black and clear embossed.

Die cut the "Autumn" from a tan cardstock, inked with Versamark and embossed with Emerald Creek "Thanksgiving" embossing powder.

Trimmed down and adhered to a mid toned brown cardstock.

Created a Silhouette cut file using Sure Cuts A Lot software and Suzanne's "Chalkline Font"

I inserted each letter separately on my mat so that I could do my own kerning. All the letters link together for easy removal from the mat and adhering to my card... I inked the text while on my mat with the black and then removed the sections and embossed with Emerald Creek "Oil Rubbed Bronze" embossing powder.

The "Friend" I cut larger and embossed with their gold and the Thanksgiving.

Adhered all to a bright yellow cardstock.

Joined all the panels together leaving a 1/16" space between each panel. Punched out a bunch of mid sized ovals - approx 3/4" w from a gold pearl cardstock (scrap on my desk...)

Die cut a couple screw heads (Marianne Designs) for each oval, colored with a brown colored pencil and adhered to the ovals. Scored and folded the accordion.
