I've recently been seeing a lot of images using alcohol ink and gold foil, so you know my reaction... had to try it too. I was putting it off until I cleaned off my desk a bit and found some rubber gloves... but then said the hell with that and just did the technique with the few bottles I had lying on my desk... I was extremely happy with the results, so will play with it so more when I find my gloves ROFL.

I'm using one of the newest an A Way With Words dies  "Special Delivery Day" 3pce set  from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE

I 'm also using a couple of the clear stamp sets from Quietfire Design 

("Love & Hearts Collection" 10pce set); ("Happy Birthday Collection" 8pce set)

Scored and folded my white cardstock.

Created the alcohol ink on Kodak paper (it's raw photo paper - not the kind you buy to run through your printers.) I couldn't find my Yupo in all my mess... Allowed the ink to mostly dry until it was only tacky... then pressed my gold foil (silver side down) onto the alcohol and pressed to get whatever foil would adhere. Trimmed down and cut a diagonal piece for my card front (PS I have another one for another card...)

Dry embossed the background with Cuttlebug Anna Griffin "Rose Pavilion". Hit the high points with Distress "Milled Lavender". Trimmed down and adhered to a purple cardstock, then onto my card front.

Electronically cut the shape of the flowers (Simon Says "Bouquet of Thanks"), stamped with Versafine Black Onyx and colored with watercolor pencils (a new bunch I just got called MuHui). Adhered the alcohol triangle and the flowers just under the edge.

Stamped the word "You're" on white cardstock using the black and clear embossed. Die cut with a n oval set and sponged around edges. Adhered to front.

Die cut the "Special" from DoCrafts gold mirror cardstock and adhered to front.

Adhered some ribbon that I colored with a metallic pen and tied a bow.

Adhered silver mini pearls to the flower stamen.

On the inside: stamped the heart border using Versafine "Imperial Purple" and clear embossed.

Colored the hearts using Papermania metallic markers in a pink and purple, and the rest applying Quickie Glue and sprinkling with a light purple glitter.

Stamped the quote and sentiments with the purple, clear embossed.
