ID: MC Aug/18 - Easel Maple Branch - ECD Thinking Of You - Don't Let Yesterday card
size: 7"w x 5"H (Easel closed)

Created: August 4, 2018

More resurrected from my stash... Both of the maple branches had paste spills under the stencil that was just ugh... So fussy cut around them,,,

I'm using an A Way With Words dies  "Thinking Of You" from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE

And I'm using a quote stamp from Quietfire Design

("Don't Let Yesterday...")

Scored and folded my black cardstock to create the easel structure. Cut another piece same size as card and adhered to front.

Created the background with various Distress Oxide pads, then sprayed with Liquid Pearls "Sunflower Sparkle"

I had stenciled the "Maple Branch" (Dreamweaver) onto dark brown cardstock using the black matte paste. Some slipped under the stencil and I tried scrapping it when it was dried. Let a bit of a mess that was too visible, so tossed it into my scraps pile... I fussy cut around the branch and adhered to oxide background. "PERFECT..."

Stamped the stork (Local King Rubber "Cherish") using Versafine Black Onyx. and clear embossed. Adhered background to front of card.

On the floor: Another stencil mistake... also done with black matte paste, but then sprinkled while wet with Perfect Pearls powders. Fussy cut and adhered to floor.

Die cut the "Thinking of You" from an advertising restaurant menu. (It had beautiful pics and nice heavy cardstock...). Adhered to floor.

Stamped the quote onto black cardstock using Picket Fence and embossing with white embossing powder. Trimmed down, scored and adhered to floor to act as my stopper.
