Quietfire Creations is have a kind of stencil blog hop week (with no hopping...) and with prizes . I decided to do a stencil card for every day of the hop... I know I'm an over achiever...

I'm using an A Way With Words die "Sending Hugs Kisses" 3pce die set and stencil "Dotty" from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE and HERE

Suzanne came out with a bunch of new stamps that are fabulous, you'll see several of them in action in the coming week...

Created the Oxide background a while back, by applying various Oxides to my craft sheet, misting with water and then pressing my paper into the wetness several times, till I was happy with the results. When dry, I used a fine tipped black pen to squiggle lines around various sections (almost creating a map...)

Stenciled the dot border by masking my stencil, sponging a section with Distress "Walnut Stain", moving the stencil, matching the last sponged dot with the stencil, then embossing with Emerald Creek "Oil Rubbed Bronze" embossing powder.

Stamped the quote using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed.

Adhered my background to the card front and added the white half pearls to each corner.

On the floor: Die cut the "Hugs" and "Friends" words from various decorated Oxide backgrounds. Surgically removed the "s" from Friends. And adhered both words to the floor. Used some white ink and a pointed pen to write the word "my".

Cut some of the background paper and adhered to either side of the words. Added a white half pearl to the dot of the "i".

Adhered the narrow lace ribbon to use as my stopper.
