size: 7"w x 5"h (easel closed)

I'm using a bunch of the newest products from Suzanne and Elizabeth Craft Designs. Suzanne came out with a bunch of stencils and I'm using the "Flourished Frame" (on Quietfire Design HERE). Then I'm also using a bunch of A Way With Words dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs "Wishing You A", "Happy Birthday - 2pce set" and "Flourished Heart" also available on Quietfire Design HERE, HERE and HERE

And using one of the newest stamps that just came out from Quietfire Design, as well as a design element butterfly

("Always Believe...");  ("Butterflies/Dragonflies" 7pce set)

Scored and folded my "Pop Tone Limeade" green cardstock (paper-garden.ca) to create the side easel, cutting another piece the same size as card for the front - see diagram to create one.

I started with 8.5 x 11" cardstock. Cut the cardstock to 5" x 11". Scored vertically at the 7" point. The measure vertically to the 4" point and diagonally scored. Note: if you're using a wider than 11" cardstock, measure whatever is past the 7" point and measure that vertically so you have the same measurement on the base as the vertical side.

Cut a dark brown "Moroccan Cocoa" (paper-garden.ca) piece smaller than my card front. Paste embossed with the "Flourished Frame" stencil and using Imagine Crafts "Creative Medium - Metallic Gold" paste. Set aside to dry.

Colored some white cardstock with Distress dabbers ("Spun Sugar"; "Broken China"; "Mustard Seed"; and "Mowed Lawn) - see background detail image. Die cut my words using the background, inked the words with Versamark and embossed with UTEE clear embossing powder. Created a shadow layer for the "Birthday" word to use as my stopper. Adhered to my brown panel, then onto the card front.

Added a couple light pink half pearls with some Glossy Accents.

Die cut the Flourished Heart from white cardstock, painted with the Spun Sugar, dried and applied Stickles "Cotton Candy" all over. Adhered to a blackout layer from the brown cardstock then adhered to corner of frame.

Used some of the leftover background from the words and electronically cut the small butterflies, then inked the stamp with Versamark and embossed with Queen's Gold embossing powder.

On the floor: Die cut the brown base piece using Elizabeth Craft Designs "Stitched Rectangles" die set. adhered to floor.

Stamped the quote on the green cardstock, inking with Versafine "Toffee" and embossing with Emerald Creek "Mirror Gold" embossing powder. Die cut with the stitched rectangles set, moving the die to get the size I wanted. Adhered to floor.

Created a shadow layer for the "birthday" word from the brown cardstock. Adhered the two together, then adhered the bottom portion of the word to the floor as my stopper.

Adhered another of the small butterflies. Then adhered a small bow made from the green Sari ribbon I love.
