Sixth card in the alcohol series... and this was the 2nd one I did with these colors, the first was the streaky background, then this one and since there was ink left over created the Dec 25 background...

I was lucky enough to get a bunch of Kodak photo paper - the kind used in the automatic print machines in Superstore.... So I experimented with it. In theory using photo paper is not good with alcohol inks... but this paper worked beautifully. I think it's because it didn't have the 2nd layer (a thin film) adhered to it - it was the raw glossy paper.

I'm using a couple of an A Way With Words die from Elizabeth Craft Designs "Merry Christmas 2" 2pce set  also available on Quietfire Design HERE

I'm using a  quote and design element  stamps  from Quietfire Design

("A Smile is the Best..."); ("Flourished Ornaments" 4pce set)

I scored and folded my gold pearlized  card. Cut and adhered a front layer.

Created my alcohol background - inking my felt (Raspberry, Sunshine Yellow, Botanical) and a touch of blending solution, creating a kind of plaid design... leaving wider spaces between my streaks.

Created a silhouette file of the flourished ornament and cut with my electronic cutter. Stamped with Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed, then stamped with the various flourished words with the black and clear embossed. Adhered them strategically on the front adding a ribbon of pearl beads, adhering with a glue gun.

Die cut the cedar sprigs (Dee's Distinctively) from a previously made Brusho decorated watercolor paper in my stash... Adhered to front.

On the Floor: Die cut the Merry Christmas from a mint green cardstock. Created a silhouette image of the words and cut a shadow layer with my electronic cutter. Adhered both together and then adhered the bottom half of each word to the floor, bending the top half to create my stopper.

Stamped the quote with the black and clear embossed on white cardstock. Die cut with the Stitched Ovals die set (Elizabeth Craft Designs). Sponged edges with a dirty pink and green sponge. Adhered to floor, adding some of the leftover cedar boughs.
