Needed a Birthday card for a guy this time, so picked up the sports embossing folder by Leanne Creatif. Then I found a bunch of silhouette sports images and eCut them.

Also using one of an "A Way With Words" die from Elizabeth Craft Designs ("Happy Birthday"), designed by Suzanne Cannon (also available HERE). 

And using a sentiment stamp  from Quietfire Design  

("Twirl & Enjoy" 3 pce set);

Created a stencil/mask of the embossing folder. Embossed the design onto white cardstock (3 times), then lay the stencil over the design and inked the high points with Distress "Ground Espresso". Trimmed down. Adhered to front and inside left. The last one I cut a 1" border to create a frame for the inside right side.

eCut the various sports images from white cardstock. Inked some of them with Distress Black Soot and embossed with Distress "Black Soot" embossing powder. The soccer one I inked with "Pumice Stone" and clear embossed. Adhered them on the various pages.

Used Just Right "Brayton" alphabet set to create my blurbs, inking with Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossing, then cutting out in a bubble shape, sponging the edges with a brown.

On the inside: Grabed from my stash a couple of the Birthday die cuts, one from black cardstock, and one done with colour burst coloured cardstock. Adhered the 2 layers together slightly off set, then onto the card

Stamped the sentiment with Distress "Picket Fence" and embossed with white embossing powder.

As a final touch, punched out the soccer ball from a left over piece of the embossed sports design.
