And another good quilling session this week working on vortex coils... Tedious but fun to make. Need a bit more practice though...

I'm using a quote & sentiment stamp from Quietfire Design

("How Old Would You Be"); ("Happy Birthday Plain and Simple" 7 pce set);

It was a good way to use some of my quill strip scraps... I spliced 3 colors together from the beginning and from the end. Also used a dog grooming comb I picked up last year to make the leaf sprigs.

Scored and side folded my peach toned cardstock.

Die cut various Stitched Ovals (Elizabeth Craft Designs) from  a cream toned cardstock (sponged with some brown), and camel toned and a dark brown patterned scrapbook cardstock. Layered them on to my front and floor.

Adhered my quilled elements to the front adding the bow from my stash.

On the floor: eCut the magnolia branch (Power Poppy "Planning for Magnolias") stamped  with Versafine Black Onyx, colored with Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils. Cut the branches apart and adhered to floor - reassembled.

Stamped the quote using the black and clear embossed.

Stamped the sentiment onto cream toned cardstock, clear embossed and die cut with Spellbinders oval die set. Adhered to floor to act as a stopper.
