ID: MC Sept/15 - Mosaic - Autumn Wishes - May Your Home card
size: 4.25"w x 5.5"h

Created: September 6, 2015

I'm using an Elizabeth Craft Designs  (ECD) die "Circles" to create the mosaic.

The rubber stamp quote on the inside as well as bits and pieces of other quotes are by Quietfire Design  as well as an eCut file by Suzanne Cannon available on the SIlhouette onLine Store.

("Home - Congratulations" 5pce set); ("To Give Thanks" 4pce set); ("This is my beloved") & ("All Our Best Wishes"); eCut "Autumn"

Side folded my white card.

On 90# Canson CP waterclor paper I stamped the leaves (Chocolate Baroque "Autumn Poppy")  using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Painted with Golden's QoR watercolors. Adhere some ECD double sided adhesive on the back of my paper and die cut with the circles die, repeating the die cutting until my whole paper was die cut. (the amount of pressure I used left everything still attached, but yet die cut...maybe it was part of the stickiness of the tape as well holding the things together...). Used a pick to remove the release paper from the circle pieces only, leaving the outline release paper in place, then flipping the paper over and pressing down onto my card front. Holding the various small pieces in place while carefully lifting the outline piece, then pressing down all my circles firmly.

eCut the "Autumn" from white cardstock as well as a shadow layer". Colored the word piece with Distress Minis ("Mustard Seed", "Ripe Persimmon", "Worn Lipstick", "Tea Dye"), then clear embossed a couple times. The shadow layer I colored with "Walnut Stain" then adhered the two layers together.

Adhered a piece of yellow stain ribbon on the diagonal, then my word piece.

Stamped the word "wishes" on white cardstock using the black and clear embossed, then cut close to the word adding a picot edge. Hit the edges with the marmalade pad and adhered to card.

The Holly Leaves were die cut from Color Burst decorated watercolor paper. I used 90# Canson CP paper (wrong side - smoother), misting the paper with water then bursts of "Pthalo Green" and "Terre Verte", misting with more water. Picking up the excess puddles with the corner of a paper towel, then allowing it to dry.

On the inside: Stamped one of the other leaf images from the Autumn Poppy set using the black and clear embossing. This time I used my Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils.

Stamped the quote with the black. Stamped the "Thanksgiving" using a Black Distress marker to be able to get only the word without the other parts of the quote... Stamped the word "this" using "Rusty Hinge" marker.
