Another guy card... My cousin goes canoeing/fishing with the guys usually once a year...

I'm using a sentiment & quote stamps from Quietfire Design and I spliced a couple words from 2 other quote stamps - and used an eCut on the front available on the Silhouette onLine store.

("Happy Birthday Plain And Simple" 7pce set); ("Friends Are Those"); and the words "with" ("Garden Delights" 8pce set) & "Friends" ("Love is Friendship..."); eCut ("Awesome")

I folded a piece of 110# white cardstock at around the 4" mark. Placed the border die (Spellbinders "Classic Edges 2") and die cut through both layers. Folded a 2nd piece of cardstock the same way and matched the die placement with the folded edge and die cut. Repeated the process for the bottom edges. On the bottom edges I cut through 2 of the scallops to create the feet. I cut a 1/4" tab on one of the edges and adhered my 2nd folded piece to it to create the full screen. Sponged Distress "Vintage Photo" around all the edges.

Cut a piece of white cardstock (approx 3.25 x 6"). stamped the lake scene (Beeswax "Large Lake Scene") using Versafine Black Onyx. Sponged some Distress colors ("Tumbled Glass", "Crushed Olive" & "Mowed Lawn"). Added in the doodled birds. Adhered to a piece of blue textured cardstock and used my "Layering Ruler" - 1/8" to cut the borders. Adhered to front.

eCut the word "Awesome from white cardstock and while on the mat, direct to paper with "Chipped Sapphire". Removed from mat and adhered to a shadow layer. Applied Versamark all over and clear embossed, then adhered to card front.

Found an image of a canoe and cut out, colored with Prisma colored pencils and adhered off the edge of the card.

Printed out a map of Ontario and sponged with the Tumbled glass and some "Antique Linen". Cut down to the same size as the front white piece, adhered to the blue textured cardstock and cut the borders, then adhered to inside pages.

Found another online image of a guy carrying the canoe and one of a bonfire, cut both out and colroed with the colored pencils. adhered to pages.

Die cut the letters (Spellbinders "Font One Lower Case") for the word "Adventures" from the other piece of demo'ed paper using Brusho's I did the other day. Used the negative piece and a marker to create a black outline, then adhered my letters slightly offset. added a few negative letters instead of all positive ones for variety.

Stamped the two words "With" & "Friends" using the black and clear embossed, then trimmed close and around the descender, adding a picot edge. Sponged with some blue and brown and adhered to 3rd page. I had an extra bird on branch die (Impression Obsession) cut from the Wednesday project on the Colour Burst demo'ed paper, so added it...

I had bought the guys fishing image sheet a while back specifically for this type of card. I'm glad I ended up using it...

On the 4th page I stamped the "Happy Birthday" inking with the blue & green and misting with water.  Then stamped the quote with the black.

As a final touch, I inked in his initials on one of the canoes and wrote the word "AMI" on the other.
