Here By Me card
Created: May 24, 2015 Ok, another one of those dreamy guys... couldn't resist. no one to give it to, but sure is nice to look at... I'm using parts of quote stamps on the front & inside from Quietfire Design ("Garden Bench Set" - 4pce set); ("Find Yourself a Cup...");

I scored and folded my white card.
Embossed the front using Craft Concepts "Alfred's Birds" embossing
folder. Colored the tree with Distress Markers and then with an
embossing pen and embossed with Distress "Walnut Stain" embossing
powder. Painted the birds with the markers, applying the marker to
some plastic and picking up the color with a moist paint brush, then
touching the bird while damp with the marker here and there. Added a
touch of brown on their heads. The sky and lower area was done with
Distress pads, applied to plastic and then semi dry brushed across
the card. For the green area I then went over it with a Shabby
Shutters pad. Stamped the quote using Versafine Black Onyx eCut the guy, coloring the top layer with a Bic black marker, then adhering it to a white solid layer (that way the collar, cuff & hanky pop out being white...). eCut the bench, the seat area colored with the markers. The iron work inked with Versafine "Vintage Sepia" and embossed with "Rustique Tin Can". Adhered my guy to the bench. Die cut a bunch of elements from scrap decorated papers in my stash - Memory Box "Bamboo Shoots", "Prim Poppy, "Lorelai Leaf", "Blooming Branch"; Dee's Distinctively "Floral Leaf Set #1"; and the rose from Reader's Digest paper "Die-Namics" Heirloom Hybrid Rose". When everything was glued down - there are 8 layers... On the inside: Stamped the quote using the Black Onyx. Stamped the bench "Flourishes "Around the Arbor" with the black and colored with Prisma colored pencils. eCut a smaller, reverse image of my guy and adhered to bench. Masked the bench and quote area and stamped the rocky area using Distress mini pads, "Antique Linen", "Vintage Photo" and a touch "Mowed Lawn", misted with water and stamped. Did the same in the bottom left area. Stamped the "Bleeding Hearts" (Flourishes "Spring Ephemerals Collection 1") using "Worn Lipstick" and the "Mowed Lawn" and touching with "Forest Moss", misting and stamping. |
