I thought the color burst came in a good needle nose type bottle... but after playing with them a bit I realized I didn't like it. The powder is very fine and has a tendency to compact making it harder to squeeze the bottle to let a burst  out and then getting a burst that is just too big..., and since the container is opaque, you can't see what's happening... So I decided to try putting some in one of my E Liquid refiller bottles for electronic cigarettes. They are 10ml clear plastic bottles with a metal needle nose opening. Worked much better. So while I was doing that, I figured I might as well try making a background BIG GRIN. Loved it and it reminded me so much of a country garden. And the rest just came about...

I'm using a quote stamp on the outside, sentiment stamps under the quote flap and another sentiment stamp on the inside from Quietfire Design

("Love Does Not Consist..."); ("Happy Birthday Plain & Simple" 7pce set); ("We Cannot Tell..." 2 pce set); ("Twirl & Enjoy" 3 pce set)

I scored and folded my dark green cardstock.

Used a piece of Canson Biggie watercolor paper (wrong side) and misted here and there with water, then puffed out the color burst - the yellow, orange, crimson and ultramarine, misting with water here and there again, smooshing the blue in the sky with my finger and absorbing some of the puddles with a tissue. Then heat dried.

Stamped the cottage (Rick St Denis "Country Lane") using Versafine Black Onyx. Stamped the Adirondack chairs (Old Island) also with the black. Colored both with Prisma colored pencils.

Masked the chair and stamped the grasses (Old Island "Flor de Perejil") also with the black.

Stamped some outline type flowers in the foreground (gg Designs "Teapot/Cup" 14 pce set) & (Pink Cat Studio "Oriental" set).

Stamped the quote on white cardstock and die cut with Spellbinders "Dahlia" die set. Scored the extreme left edge, folded and glued to underside of front scene, then adhered the scene to the card front.

Stamped the birthday sentiment and the "my friend" using the black.

On the inside, Adhered a piece of white cardstock and stamped the bird image (Stampendous "Jumbo Bird") using Distress pads ("Mustard Yellow", "Salty Ocean", "Mowed Lawn" & "Forest Moss") misted with water and stamped.

Stamped the sentiment with the black and clear embossed. Added some black detail to the bird beak and eye using a zig marker.
