Further on the thoughts of split fronts... I wanted to put a layer of clear glitter separating the two pieces...

I'm using a quote stamp from Quietfire Design as well as one of the newest dies "Believe"

Stamps: ("When You Get to the End..."); ("Flourishes 1" pce set)

I had made the background a while ago and it turned out as a reject... but I think worked for this card... I had used one of my new stencils (Maidenhair Fern by Designs By Ryn) which is a beautiful big fern leaf. But since it was delicate I decided to use Distress acrylic daubers in a pouncing motion rather than a circular motion with stamp pad inks. Well as it turned out the ink did seep under the stencil a bit making it a very abstract fern... So it got tossed into my scrap bin. Sigh!!

I die cut my word "Believe" from the above cardstock, cut a horizontal line from the die cut edge to the edge of my cardstock. Inked the word with Versamark and embossed with "Emerald" embossing powder. Repeated the process to get a nice thick smooth layer of embossing. Adhered a piece of 2.5" wide Sookwang tape to the upper most portion (negative piece of the die cut), then carefully placed my die cut word, fitting it in to the openings, Then carefully adhered the bottom piece. Sprinkled and burnished with eCraft Designs "Warm Diamonds" micro fine glitter. Trimmed it down to fit my card front. Cut a piece of clear Graffix plastic and adhered to the back of the glitter area for added strength and protection. Layered the trimmed down front to a piece of dark green textured cardstock, first cutting away the area of the glitter so it was still see through.

Stamped a piece of translucent iridescent vellum using Quietfire Design "Flourishes 1" stamp set, inking with Versamark and embossing with Inkadinkado "Hot Pink" embossing powder. Die cut the wings (Memory Box "Meadow Dragonfly") from the vellum and the body from cardstock. Inked the body with Distress "Rusty Hinge". Adhered the elements together and then on to the card adding various sizes of white half pearls.

Had some left over little flowers in my stash, So used a balled stylus to shape them a bit and adhered two to the front adding an amber rhinestone to their centers.

On the floor adhered a piece of white Ruche paper.

Stamped the quote onto white cardstock using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Cut close to the stamping, sponged some green using a dirty sponge. Die cut the scalloped under layer (Nellie's "Rectangle 3" set) from the green cardstock and adhered the quote, then adhered to floor using 3D foam tape.

Created a silhouette image of the maidenhair fern stamp (Rubber Stampede "Maidenhead Fern") and cut with my electronic cutter, then stamped the cut out using Distress "Peeled Paint" and here and there with "Mowed Lawn" misted with water and stamped.

Since I had the silhouette image, I decided to cut one larger and just colored it with the same pads. Adhered both to the floor, partially under and partially on top of the quote piece.

Adhered a couple more of the glowers from my stash and the 2 butterflies (Joy Crafts) also from my stash...

As a final touch added a double loop fork bow from a dusty rose narrow ribbon.
