And another dimensional flower I was itching to make... Dogwoods.

I'm also using a  quote & sentiment stamp from Quietfire Design

I scored and folded some Bazzill Monochromatic cardstock in a metallic off white shade for my easel. When the front piece below was completed, cut off part of the easel to allow light to shine through the window.

I die cut the Memory Box "Grand Gothic Luminary" window from some black cardstock. Then used the die to cut openings in a piece of white Ruche cardstock and plain white cardstock backing. Cut a piece of velum, larger than the window, stamped the sentiment with Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Then on the backside of the vellum used alcohol inks and pounced with various shades of purples and pinks and some gold. Sandwiched the vellum between the Ruche and plain cardstock, adhering all the edges.

Die cut the border (Spellbinders "Parisian Accents") from white cardstock, applied Versamark all over and embossed with Antiquites "Pink Stucco". (has a nice matte finish). Cut some corners from the same die set and then started fiddling and trimming to create the frame. Adhered to the front.

Die cut the branch element (Cheery Lynn Designs "Fanciful Flourish") from white cardstock, smeared a Distress pad "Forest Moss" all over then sponged some "Gathered Twigs". Adhered to front, cutting of some of the branches to place here and there.

Drew the dogwood petals (almost the shape of a bone...) and cut with my electronic cutter from 90# hot press watercolor paper. Then colored them in  using Derwent watercolor pencils and Inktense pencils and a water brush. Shaped the petals with a large balled stylus around the edges to make them cup like and then adhered two sections together to create the flower. Sprayed the larger flowers with Perfect Pearls "Perfect Pearls" mist. Punched out some small circles and applied Viva Pearl Pen dots in "Kiwi", "Gold" & "Dark Brown". set that aside to dry, then adhered to the center of the flowers.

The quilled flowers I made at my last quilling session so added them as well. And added the gem centers by Queen & Co ROX "Sunflower Yellow"

On the inside I stamped the quote using the black on white cardstock, clear embossed and die cut with Spellbinders "Fancy Tags" die altering the length by using the "off the edge" technique. Sponged some Distress "Picked Raspberry" around the edges. Then scanned the altered tag and cut a shadow layer with my electronic cutter. Smeared my Moss pad over the shadow layer. Adhered the 2 layers and then added square pink rhinestones. Adhered to card floor with 3D foam tape.

The envelope box I made using pearlized pink cardstock and my Scor-It board. I made a mock up first from scrap paper BIG GRIN...

I wrote the name of the person using a Copperplate style of writing with my pointed pen and Sumi ink on some white cardstock, die cut with Spellbinders "Pearl Effects Card Creator" set. Sponged some of the Raspberry around the edges. Stamped the Dogwood image on white cardstock with the black, clear embossed and colored with Prisma colored pencils, then fussy cut around it and adhered to box front. (sorry this image can only be uploaded next Wednesday after I give it to my friend...)

The back has a ribbed decorative element (because of a mistake big grin). I also cut another fancy tag and shadow to use as a closure, attaching it to the box with pink pearl brads. I also punched large circles and adhered it over the prongs on the inside of the box to protect the card from catching on them.
