size: 7"w x 5"h (Easel closed)

I seem to be making a lot of easel or multi fold cards lately... and loving making the canvas roses...

I'm also using a  quote  stamp from Quietfire Design

I scored and folded my base like a normal easel card, but then cut out the center portion matching it up to the frame piece I made so the lattice would be completely see thru.

I die cut the lattice (Spellbinders) from white cardstock, applied Memento "Teal Zeal" randomly, then applied Distress Broken China all over and embossed with Judi Kins "Rustique Patina Jade" embossing powder.

Cut the frame the size of my card front and cut out the center portion leaving about a 3/4" border all around. Adhered copper slug tape, then ran through my machine with the Cuttlebug "Brocade" embossing folder. Daubed Distress Paints "Walnut Stain" & "Black Soot" randomly, then used my finger to tap the colors so they blended slightly. Dried, then daubed Broken China and dried, then sanded. Had some slivers of the copper left over so used them to hide the join lines and add an interesting contrasting detail. Adhered the lattice and then adhered it to the card front.

Die cut the roses (Marianne Creatables LR0162) from leftover hand painted canvas I had from a journal project. Adhered them to the lattice with hot glue.

Die cut the leaves from green Gelli print paper using (Memory Box "Sonora Rose") and a few using Die-Namics "Royal Leaves". Both have embossed vein lines, so applied some Distress direct to paper in "Forest Moss" & "Mowed Lawn", then shaped them with a large balled stylus and adhered with the hot glue.

Created a stamp silhouette image of the bird (Starving Artistamp "Parakeet on Swing") and eCut with my electronic cutter, then stamped with Versfaine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Colored with Prisma colored pencils and added a bit of Wink of Stella clear iridescent. Adhered to lattice with the hot glue, then tied a couple tiny bows to hold the swing from blue twine and adhered those with the hot glue

Stamped the quote with the black and clear embossed, then die cut using Die-Namics "Oval Decorative Doily" set. Touched the edges with the Broken China pad.

Embossed a separate piece of blue cardstock using Cuttlebug "Happy Birthday" embossing folder, hit the high points with the broken china pad, adhered to floor, then adhered the quote using 3D foam squares. As a final touch added a couple little pearl flourishes.
