ID: MC Jan/14 - Persian Motif - The Woods HB card
size: 5"w x 7"h closed

I was playing with my Persian Motif die set and created an oval I could use...

I'm also using a couple stamps from Quietfire Design

I first die cut a Spellbinders oval, then several Persian Motif designs. Cut the picots away from the design and started taping them to the back of the oval. Liked what was happening, so scanned it and cut with my electronic cutter from white cardstock. Sponged with Distress "Mustard Seed", then with "Picked Raspberry". Clear embossed around the edge.

Side folded my white card. Layered with the pinker toned cardstock, then with the Bazzill monochromatic cardstock which I embossed using the Crafts Too "Feathers" embossing folder. Hit the high points with the raspberry pad.

Adhered my Persian oval. Then the Sari ribbon across the middle.

Die cut two more ovals. The larger one sponged with the raspberry. The smaller one stamped with the quote using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Edged the oval with the raspberry sponge.

Stamped the bird images (LKR rubber Asian Essence) on to white paper, scanned to create a solid silhouette image, eCut from watercolor paper. Stamped the birds on the eCuts, coloring the stamp with Distress markers, misting with water, and stamping. Adhered to card.

Pierced a whole for my pearl brad bow created with ends of the Sari Ribbon.

Inside

As a final touch added Liquid Pearls bead drops around the oval.

On the inside covered the brad points with a Persian die cut, sponged with the yellow and raspberry.

eCut another Persian Motif oval, but this time I squished it for a smaller design. Stamped the Happy Birthday with the black and clear embossed. Sponged with the raspberry and then hit the center with the yellow. Adhered to inside. eCut another bird image from regular cardstock, inked the stamp as above and adhered.
