An online friend made me aware of a challenge on the Creative Cutting Challenge blog... Love the way it turned out.

I'm also using an eCut file and a recent release stamp from Quietfire Design

I cut the word Welcome with my Silhouette electronic cutter using Sure Cuts a Lot software from white 110# cardstock. Inked it up with Versafine Black Onyx and embossed with black embossing powder.

Cut a shadow/silhouette of the word and sponged Distress "Mustard Seed" all over and then used a polka dot stencil (Crafters Workshop) and "Ripe Persimmon". Adhered my word tot he silhouette.

Used some photo editing software to create an outline image of the lace doily from Just Rite "Lace Doily Labels" set. Then cut with my cutter from the white cardstock and stamped the image onto the cutwork using Versamark stamp pad and embossed with white embossing powder.

The leaves are another eCut piece, inspiration from my most recent embossing folder (Cuttlebug Anna Griffin "Brocade"). Drew an image of the leaf from a rubbing of the folder, then scanned and photo edited it, then assembled a bunch of them in my cutting software and cut from white cardstock. Sponged with "Shabby Shutters" lightly, then scored vein lines and sponged more green and then some of the persimmon.

Die cut the lady bug (ecraft Designs) sponging with the Mustard. The wings with black and embossing with black embossing powder.

The flowers were die cut using a Memory Box quill paper die. The paper was decorated striped paper I had made eons ago on rice paper. I folded the paper to get a longer fringe. The smaller fringes (Quilled Creations 3 die Quill Mum set) are cut from Reader's Digest pages...

I stamped the sentiment/quote using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed.

Embossed the front of my side folded white card with Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" embossing folder using an off the edge technique to work around my stamped sentiment without leaving embossing lines.
