One of my friends is having a 65th birthday... This time someone let me know that it was a milestone birthday and I could do something a little more special... This one is definitely "involved"

I'm also using a  birthday quote and sentiment stamp as well as a stamp from the "Friendship" quote marks set. from Quietfire Design

This is the 2nd time I use this card structure where half the front folds back on itself. This is the friend who showed it to me... so thought I'd give her one back. I also adhered a piece of white Ruche cardstock to that flap.

The quilled flowers are done with light pink quill paper and colored on one side with Distress marker "Worn Lipstick" - pink's her favorite color.

The embossed border on the inside and the embossing on the number are done with my newest acquisition Cuttlebug Anna Griffin "Brocade" embossing set. Love them.

Stamped the inside flap section with the "Happy Birthday" and "My Friend" stamp inking first with Distress "Picked Raspberry" and then hitting it here and there with "Black Soot" then clear embossed.

Used the embossed leaf design to create an image to cut with my electronic cutter. Welded a few of them together in my Sure Cuts A Lot software and cut from white 110# cardstock. Scored vein lines with a small balled stylus, then sponged some Distress Shabby Shutters lightly all over, then hit the high points with the pad itself. Also hit it with "Picked Raspberry".

Cut out the frame using Spellbinders "Classic Frame" die set, my hard rubber mallet and  Neenah  white 110# cardstock. I also adjusted the width to fit my needs, moving the die as required. Heavily sponged the Raspberry in the design section and then lightly sponged around the edges.

Drew my number, scanned it and cut with my electronic cutter, dry embossed it with the Brocade folder, hit the high points with Shabby Shutters, clear embossed that, then sponged the raspberry all over, wiped of the excess from the heat embossed areas and clear embossed again. Adhered to frame piece, then onto card flap.

Used the negative of the frame above, guiding the placement with the adhered front piece, then sponged the frame on the inside using the Raspberry and then hitting the leafy area with the Shabby Shutters. Stamped the quote with Versafine "Black Onyx"

Adhered the leaf electronic cut piece and then my quilled flowers. Added some large pink rhinestones.

Envelope/box was created using light pink cardstock (11" x 11" piece to get a 7" x 5" x 1/2" box), scored with my score-it board. Lettering done with 6.0 parallel pen, Sumi black ink, doodles with a mix of Copic white ink and H2º and a pointed pen. Quickie glue pen added to squares and Glitter Ritz micro fine glitter "Rose". The flap is held down with a die cut using Spellbinders "Moroccan Accents" set. I also used the same die to decorate the inverted point on the inside of the box (not shown).
