I was playing with some Dreamweaver glossy white paste and a Crafter's Workshop stencil and used one of the backgrounds for this card.

I'm using the Birthday stamp from the "Happy Family day" set from Quietfire Design

I used the Kasbah 6 x 6" stencil and a palette knife to smear the glossy white paste onto white cardstock. Allowed it to dry naturally, then sponged various Distress colors over it (Peeled Paint, Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold), then wiped of the excess from the glossy areas. Die cut with a Spellbinders Grand "Labels 28".

Side folded my green card and die cut with the next size up, staying shy of my folded edge. Adhered my background piece tot he front. Cut a glittery green ribbon and adhered with Sookwang tape.

Stamped the sentiment with Versafine Black Onyx on a scrap piece of the green, then cut it out in a shamrock shape. Hit the edges with Distress "Pine Needles". Adhered to card.

Stamped the quote with the black, cut in a rectangle shape and adhered to card.

As a final touch added the green enamel dots to the four corners.
