I came across a beautifully design poppy done by Manuella and wanted to make one...

I'm also using a couple calligraphic stamps from Quietfire Design

"Garden Delights" set "Some People like flowers..." & "10 tiny tag sentiments" "Happy Birthday"

I stamped several poppy flower stamps to create my background. (Poppy Heads by Old Island; Poppy flower with leaves by Magenta; & a trio of poppies by gg design). I masked off areas to stamp the individual images. Colored with some watercolor pencils, and for the trio of poppies inked with Distress & touched with a Distress black marker, misted with water and stamped.

Created my quilled poppy using the "husking" technique, fringing & dimensional tight coil.

Stamped the happy birthday sentimen on white cardstock with versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed it. Die cut with Spellbinders "Fancy Tags" die, sponged a bit of Distress "Black Soot" and "Festive Berry". Adhered to card front.

Cut away a portion of the front and stamped my quote on the inside with the Black Onyx.

Added some black rhinestone squares on the tag.
