I had made coffee filter roses recently that I really liked, colored with spray inks etc.

After demoing adhering napkins with Saran Cling Wrap to my last quilling class, I decided to try it on the coffee filters - wonderful...

Touching the coffee filters I realized they felt a lot like rice paper, so cut some roses from that as well and it worked beautifully. The uncolored roses are the rice paper ones, which I only spritzed with Perfect Pearls "Sunflower Sparkle". After everything was assembled I felt it needed something more, like baby's breath... but how to do that. Love those little guys too and they were another labour intensive item, but well worth the effort.

I'm also using a  quote stamp from Quietfire Design

I dry embossed the front of the cream card (Cuttlebug). Stamped the words "Chinese Proverbs" with Versafine Black Onyx.

Adhered my quilled elements.

Stamped the quote (minus the attribution) with the black and clear embossed. Die cut with Spellbinders oval die set. adhered to card front with 3D adhesive tape. Tied a peg bow from beige gauze ribbon and adhered to top of oval.
