I won't say how many versions I made with this resist technique... But the texture on the copper piece went really wel...

I'm using some of my favorite stamps from Quietfire Design  "Friends" set "Friends Are Those"

I side folded my white cardstock. Stamped the "friends" word all over using Perfect Medium and clear embossed. Sponged Distress "Mustard Seed" & "Picked Raspberry"

Stamped the quote onto white cardstock with Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed, then die cut with Spellbinders circle die set, sponging some "Dried Marigold" and "Raspberry" around the edges.

Die cut a larger circle from textured cardstock, layered the two then onto the card front.

Adhered my copper tape to some white cardstock. Ran through my machine with the Spellbinders m'Bossibilites "Letters & Numbers" folder. Running it this way and that. Turning the piece over and burnishing with my bone folder to remove the embossing, but which left behind beautiful texture.

Ran through my machine again with the Sizzix Tim's Movers & Shapers "Friends" die. Adhered to card front.

I like that the pieces are hanging over the card. Other than the fact I had problems with the resist mainly because I wanted a light background and the resist technique works best with adding dark colors... this card was really quick and easy to make.
