ID: DT July/13 - Cut Flower - Fabric card
size: 7"w x 5"h (easel)

Created: July 11, 2013
Modified:

And this is the stencil used in the previous card you can see HERE, this time as the background...

I'm using a couple quote stamps from Quietfire Design  "You can never have too much fabric" ,"Sleeping Under a Quilt" and one of the newest free Digi cut file flowers

In my previous card I created a stencil, with various sizes of the "Little Flowers", adding a border and "welding" everything together, adding various sized holes in the centers of each flower, then cutting it out with my electronic cutter. The previous card sponged Distress "Mustard Seed", "Shabby Shutters" & "Spiced Marmalade".

I repeatedly stamped the "You can never" quote using Versafine Black Onyx on white cardstock. Trimmed down to fit my card front, then adhered my flower stencil/background piece. Added faux stitching with a pointed pen and a mix of Copic opaque white ink and water.

Die cut a bunch of buttons (Memory Box) from white cardstock and sponged various colors of Distress, then clear embossed each. Tied some twine and adhered to card front.

Die cut the stopper (Sizzix Tim's On Edge "Sewing" die) from white cardstock and colored the elements, adding some linear lines for the thread spools and some Pearlescent embossing powder on the metal spools. Kept a small border on the bottom to score and fold and adhered to card floor.

Stamped the other quote with the black and clear embossed. Used the Larger flower cut the other day as a stencil to sponge matching colors around the quote. Used some of the buttons as stencils as well
