One of the Long term DT members on the Flourishes blog (Leslie Miller) is stepping down and a challenge was created to case one of her cards. She does absolutely fabulous work, love her coloring and style, no way can I come close, but this is my results. I'm also using the Tsukineko Goosebumps spray I just got and really love.

I'm also using an Xmas quote stamp from Quietfire Design .

Sponged Distress Broken China randomly on white cardstock, sprayed with the Goosebumps and dried. Sponged Peeled Paint in most of the white areas and on some of the blue, wiped off with a moist paper towel, sprayed with the Goosebumps and dried. Sponged the China all over and wiped down.

Stamped the poinsettia (Flourishes set #37) with Versafine Black Onyx. I did a sampler of various medias and found I liked the Bic Mark-it alcohol pens worked nicely on this surface and covered up the green underlayer. Added Liquid Pears "Buttercup" for the flower heads. When dry, added black Identi Pen dots.

Stamped my quote with the black and clear embossed. Adhered this layer to a cream toned cardstock then on to the main dark green card leaving borders on each layer.

Added the Peel Offs gold border - this was a negative part of a border and I liked the roughness of it.
