I really love this Let It Snow stamp from Quietfire Design  and when a challenge came up with that theme this evolved.

With the theme in mind, I knew I wanted to do falling snow and then I knew I wanted it to be just there, so took a piece of Garffix clear craft plastic, scored and side folded it. Inked up a bunch of snowflakes (various Inkadinkado) using a brayer and Acrylic Pearl White paint. It gave it that free falling feeling and that bit of glimmer.

I then die cut several pieces of white cardstock and one piece of matte deep blue paper (from my recent batch of metallics) using Tim's Sizzix on the edge "Snowflurries" die. One of the white ones I sponged a touch of Distress "Tumbled Glass" on the edges, ran a glue stick over all the flurries and sprinkled Ritz micro fine glitter "Warm Highlights". Repeatedly stamped the sentiment with Versafine Majestic Blue. Adhered this panel to the front with Double sided tape. Adhered the blue paper on the inside, back front and slightly off set to give a shadow. (it also covered the tape from the front pieces). Then adhered the inside  piece with Glossy Accents. There's enough room on the border section of the flurries to put a date, sign name and a small sentiment.

It's hard to photograph acetate cards - this is with a white backing paper.
