One of the challenges on the Flourishes blog that I'm doing this week called for using dryer sheets technique or to use a household item like foil etc. So that's what I chose to use..

 

I'm also using one of newest Xmas stamps for 2011 from Quietfire Design

So I scrunched up some foil really well, opened it up a bit and adhered it to some Sookwang double sided tape. I then applied various colors of Alcohol Inks including Snow Cap Mixative.

Side folded my white card and used various Cuttlebug embossing folder strips. Adhered my foil. Stamped my sentiment with Versafine Black Onyx.

Cut out the ornament (Flourishes "Holiday Sparkle" set #SS173) and the candle set (Flourishes "Christmas Candles" set#SS172) on watercolor paper using my electronic cutter, stamped the cut pieces with Versafine Smokey Gray and colored with Daniel Smith watercolors. Adhered to card with pop dots. Adhered a white silk twisted cord to the ornament.
