And this is the 2nd card dealing with people - I'm not a people person and normally don't enjoy doing people cards. But I think today was one of those outside the box days.

It uses one of Quietfire Design latest quote stamps released a week ago.

The face/hat image was one from Dover Samplers that I manipulated and printed out as an outline image. Colored the hat black with a Pentel Mini Pocket Brush pen. The decorative border is Ritz Micro Fine glitter in Peridot & Regal Red. Colored the lips with a red colored pencil then a coat of Glossy Accents. Added cream half pearls around her neck.

The inside of the card is done with a background stamp from Harmonie (#54001) on Flourishes Classic White cardstock, colored with Nicholson's Peerless Watercolors and a waterbrush. Centers and accents of Ritz & Martha Stewart glitters. Background was trimmed down and layered to a medium toned green. The flap of the card is on the right instead of the left.

I put the quote inside the card (didn't want to ruin the face/hat image). Stamped it onto white cardstock, die cut with a Spellbinders Beaded oval & sponged some Distress Shabby Shutters.
