ID: MC March 11 - Punches - Bonne Fete card
7"w x 5"h

I was very good today - I raided my stash of die cuts, punched borders and decorative things...

It uses one of Quietfire Design quote stamps Bonne Fete from the Francais set.

The butterfly base and the lace doily base are made from circles using corner punches. You can see the Button Medallion tutorial HERE. Used various Distress stamp pads either sponged on, or direct to paper to color the layers. The rosettes are made from marbled scrapbook papers - they're very very small. All the rosettes are layered onto another circle. On the butterfly flower, the other 3 layers are punched out and either run through with an embossing folder (Cuttlebug Swiss Dots) or clear embossed to get a different look & texture.

The stem sprig was cut with my Cricut as part of a larger design and this is the leftover piece. I sponged some Versafine Toffee and embossed with Copper.

The horizontal piece are various colors of cardstock and punched (Martha Stewart border punch "Deco Fan"). Each subsequent piece of cardstock was cut a bit wider.

this flower has 7 layers.

The checkerboard background is a Tim Holtz embossing folder. I sponged some Bundled Sage on the high points and then distressed it with a sanding block.

The main card is white, then a layer of a textured pink cardstock, then the Tim checkerboard piece, the deco Fan border and then the stem and flowers arranged on top. A pearlized floral button was added to the stem and rose toned medium sized rhinestone to the rosettes.
