You card
Created: December 26, 2011 I love these flowers. Loved them when I first came across them on Stamping and Stitching in January, a year ago, and still love them... I'm using a Thank You stamp from Quietfire Design |

I created a silhouette image of the
flower (Hero Arts "Luscious Frames) and cut a bunch of them out of
vellum with my electronic cutter, then stamped each one using
Perfect Medium and embossed with white embossing powder. Embossed some scraps of vellum, one with Stampendous "Winter Wonderland" and the other with The Artful Stamper "White Gold" then punched out the centers for the flowers using a Fiskar's squeeze punch of a mod daisy. Pinched the petals of each flower to give it more dimension, then adhered a white gold daisy and then offset a winter wonderland daisy using Glossy Accents. Die cut the Flourish Leaf (Heartfelt Creations) from white cardstock, sprayed with adhesive and sprinkled Stampendous Crystal Snow, pressed down to adhere the glitter. Die cut two frames (Spellbinders Labels Four) from white cardstock, embossing the top layer and then adhering them together. The main card is white cardstock which I applied an edge to edge layer of white textured cardstock (The Paper Co.) Stamped the sentiment using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Used the Labels Four t create the corners on the card. Adhered the frame with pop dots, the leaf flourish with white glue and all the other elements with Glossy Accents. Added the large pearl centers. |
