I love the way these perfume bottles turned out - using the Movers & Shapers Carved Ornaments die cut upside down and cutting off the bottom so it could stand... Now I can use these dies all year round.

I'm using a few words & a quote from Quietfire Design

I die cut both carved ornaments from white cardstock. Stamped the one on the left with a Craquelure stamp (Impression Obsession CAC) using Distress "Iced Spruce" and sponging some of the same color around the edges. Inked up the stopper area and embossed with "Aegean Silver". Stamped the word on some light sponged cardstock that was misted with Perfect Pearls mist and die cut with an oval die. Adhered to bottle and added some half pearl flourishes. Added the little rose ribbon.

The bottle on the right was die cut from white cardstock sponged with Distress (Spun Sugar, Tattered Rose) misted with the Perfect Pearls and dried. Embossed with Sizzix Texture Fade "Dot Matrix", high points hit with Tattered Rose and clear embossed. Stamped the word with Versafine Black Onyx and punched out with a scalloped circle punch.

The background of the card was done with Distress Stains - from the top down - a strip of Spun Sugar, then Tattered Rose then Broken China, misted with water and then Perfect Pearls mist and dried. It mimics a variegated silk ribbon I have, but wasn't large enough for the card. When the background was dry, I squeezed on some Stickles Rock Candy and smeared it around with my finger, just to get a light coating of sparkle.

I adhered the decorative white lace then the perfume bottles. Die cut the leaf flourish (BossKut) from some white cardstock sponged with various greens.

The flower is a tutorial I found on line from Swirlydoos that really worked out well. I colored some white cardstock with the Spun Sugar and Tattered Rose Distress Stains, misted with Perfect Pearls, punched out 2 pieces using a medium sized scallop circle and 5 small Sakura blossoms. Scrunched the larger petals around a pencil, then opened them up. Scrunched up 2 of the small blossoms, gluing them together, then gluing the other 3 at the bottoms and then onto the larger base. Used a bamboo skewer to apply Aleene's "True Snow" to the tips and while wet sprinkled with Ritz micro fine glitter "Warm Highlights".

Stamped the quote with the Black Onyx, altering the authors name slightly. I need to raise the name so stamped it separately.
