I got some new Spellbinders dies this week. This Heirloom Ornaments is another gorgeous set and couldn't resist playing with them either.

Die cut them from white cardstock. The large one had another ornament nested in the center. I sponged Distress Barn Door on the large ornament, Adhered flourish Peel Offs (ecraftdesigns.com), then painted a layer of Distress clear crackle all over, when dry sponged some Black Soot and wiped clean. Stamped a portion of the quote (Quietfire Design) with Versafine Black on a separate piece of white cardstock and clear embossed.

The next ornament was sponged with the same red, then ran a crackle stamp with black, clear embossed and added a layer of Glossy Accents.

Smaller Ornament sponged with Distress Peeled Paint, misted and dried, run through Cuttlebug with the Butterfly Swirl embossing folder from the Heritage pack, brayered high points with Perfect medium and embossed with Queen's Gold., Then inked the whole ornament and clear embossed. The smallest ornament was just e,mbossed with gold.

All ornaments had a small gold peel off cut out for where the hangar would go. Lines of gold Peel Offs mimicked the hanging thread. They were layered on to a cream toned cardstock which was run through the Cuttlebug with the Holly Leaf embossing folder and sponged with Walnut Stain, then layered on to a main cream toned card. Two side strips of a striped gold metallic cardstock was added.
