Ah there's nothing better than Belgian Waffles with strawberries that have been let to sit with a bit of sugar for a couple hours so there's some nice juice and a lot of whipped cream... Of course being born in Belgium doesn't hurt either. BIG GRIN

This card was inspired by the Flourishes latest rubber stamp preview and the "What's Cooking" challenge. It's also a chance to win their latest 3 stamp sets

I started out by altering a waffle image, removing the strawberries that were on it, printing it and then drawing in my own strawberries and coloring them with Prisma colors.

Sponged Distress stamp pads on the background in Spun Sugar and the edge with Worn Lipstick. Wrote in my recipe with a Micron pen.

Wrote the words "Belgian Waffles" along the contour of my pottery blue/green plate. Then colored them in with the same blue and green, blending the colors.

Used Tim's On the Edge die from the Bracket set #656625 to make my openings in the green cardstock so the recipe card could slip in to it. Trimmed the green down and adhered it to a blue main card.

Stamped the quote (Quietfire Design) in two portions with Versafine Black Onyx.

Stamped the strawberries & leaves (Flourishes), colored them in, cut them out and adhered in the break between the words.
