This is another sketch I really like from The Sweetest Thing challenge. And while I was at work was doodling and came up with my flower design for the Crazy 8th's on 365 cards challenge. Add a ton of bright colors and can anyone not get a smile on their face, even if they're sick which usually happens in the spring with all kinds of flu's going around. So started with the aqua background. Rubber stamped the harlequin background (Quietfire Design) with perfect Medium and embossed with kaleidacolor. Mounted it onto a light pink cardstock. Placed a few strips of patterned paper (marbled and paste papers I made ages ago) onto my card. Die cut the 8 petal Dahlia flower (Spellbinder's). Cut out 8 circles using my EK Success Orbis scissors from plain bright colored cardstock. Layered them one on top of the other. Added that huge bright pink rhinestone. Then added 8 small aqua rhinestones on each petal. As a final touch, added the words "Get Well Soon" with a micron black pen.
