I saw the sketch today on 365 cards and realized right away they reminded me of Crayola Crayons and that's how this card was created. I love it. It also covers a couple other challenges.

So I had this decorated paper I made yesterday using Distress stamp pads in greens, misted with water and dried. Rubber stamped the quote (Quietfire Design) using Olympia Green and clear embossing it. Cut out the shape of the Crayola crayon, then added some of the markings with a Zig black writer. Colored the tip of the crayon with Prisma colors and blended with a Lyra Splendor Blender.

Created some red paper like the green, cut out, put the markings on and added the color name. Punched out the birds (Martha Stewart "Birds on Wire" #42-40022) from some of the green from above. Added dots for eyes.

Ran a piece of white cardstock through my Cuttlebug with the Checkerboard embossing folder from the "Everyday Bundle" set. Brayered the high points with Perfect Medium and embossed with Kaleidocolor embossing powder. Gave a nice glitz to the white. Hard to see in the pics. Adhered everything to my main white card.
