I got some new Spellbinders dies this week. This Nested Heart set is just gorgeous and couldn't resist playing with them. 

With a little help from a friend who brought some samples, which I then expanded on. The Layered Arches corner punch when done this way creates little spikes between the punched elements. It reminded me so much of metal prongs to hold a jewel. So that's what I did. BIG GRIN

I coated the whole layered Arches punch out with Perfect medium and embossed with Twilight. Also on the back side of the prongs. I then glued a very large jewel, waited for it to dry, then brought the prongs up and adhered with Glossy Accents. Made a few more at the same time so you'll be seeing them again

I die cut each of the hearts on white cardstock, dry embossed, then sponged with Distress stamp pads. Large heart with Walnut Stain and clear embossed, Second and third heart with Barn Door, one with more ink than the other, and clear embossed.

I stamped the quote "No one can measure... (Quietfire Design) with Versafine Majestic Blue, turning the stamp as I progressed down the card, then clear embossed them.

Cut some strips from Metallic Blue cardstock. adhered them to card, Layered the hearts, using 3D adhesive on the top two hearts. Adhered the Jewel.
