ID: Gild - Seasons' Greetings

This card is a direct result of the previous gilded card "Best Wishes". and will be used as a sample for a gilding class I'll be teaching.

I used a red cardstock, rubber stamped my holly and then gilded the strip, using  Mona Lisa size mixed with a bit of yellow ochre Gouache and composition gold leaf. Did a dry emboss technique on the gilded area. I also gilded the leaves using a variegated green leaf. I then rubber stamped the holly on a white cardstock, colored it with some watercolors, cut it out and positioned it where the stamped image was on the red card. The back of the leaves are also painted and as you can see below, you can see the leafing underneath the leaves.  The "Season's Greetings" is one of my calligraphic Peel Offs available from Elizabeth Craft Designs.
