I
drew some stars on a piece of paper to use as a template. I then
positioned my template on my card and tacked it down with
removable tape. I positioned each line of the star over the
score bar of the "Scor-it" tool and then scored my line making sure I didn't over
shoot my lines. I used a pale green colored pencil to shadow
some of the lines. I then used the same green to color in the
stars very lightly, using the pencils on the horizontal rather
than the point. I added some contrast colors (pink, aqua,
yellow) as accents near the tips of the stars working toward the
centers. I rubber stamped my quote (Quietfire Design
"If I had a star") with Inkadinkado White pigment
stamp pad and embossed with Detail White embossing powder. I
also rubber stamped some stars with curlicues around them using
Petal Point stamp pad in a dark blue and embossing with Old
Island Rubber Stamps "Twilight" Then glued on some
colored star rhinestones.
I like the subtlety of this card with the contrast of the quote.
