The Edmonton Calligraphy Society hosted Suzie Beringer making "Dirds". It was a fun evening.

Made from a 5" circle of medium
toned purple cardstock and 2 shades of pink for the wings. Added
med sized black rhinestones for the eyes adding a white dot
to them. Misc feathers from my stash and a wax linen thread
hanger.
Added the words "Hello My Friend" in Weaver style writing using a purple Zig Writer. |

Made from a 4" circle of black linear textured cardstock. Two layer wings from a blue patterned geli print, The top layer cut into feathers... Added small gold rhinestones for the eyes. Misc thin green feathers from my stash. Words written with a white gel pen. "A dird is a bird not a turd" |
