ID: Aluminum Metal covered
Journal Covers - Samples
Created: March 22, 2011 For these covers I used plumber/electricians aluminum 2"w tape. I like the thickness of it and that it has adhesive on the back, but it's a pity it's so narrow. |
I used mat board for the cover, a Dreamweaver stencil and embossing paste. Allowed to dry thoroughly, then applied my aluminum tape. Applied alcohol inks, outlined the edges with a Sharpie black marker and sanded the high points. |

I used mat board for the cover, die cut the letters using Sizzix alphabet set and Tim's Tattered Flowers die from white 65# cardstock. Double layered and adhered it to the cover. Applied my tape. Used a lot of espresso alcohol ink instead of the black Sharpie, and did more of a hand application of alcohol inks on the letters and flowers. Then sanded down the high points. Added a couple brads in the center of the flowers. |
