For this journal I used plumber/electricians aluminum 2"w tape. I like the thickness of it and that it has adhesive on the back, but it's a pity it's so narrow. For this one it wasn't that important because the edges of the tape fell within the confines of the window opening.

I used mat board for the covers. the front was done with a Dreamweaver stencil and embossing paste. Allowed to dry thoroughly, then applied my aluminum tape. The back was die cut leaves using a Sizzix die.

Used a large balled stylus to go around my pasted areas. then a smaller one for the details. Used a Black Sharpie pen to ink up the crevices, waited a few minutes before removing the high points with a dry soft cloth. Colored the leaves with alcohol inks.

I punched holes, added silver eyelets and used a scrapbook paper on the inside. I also added some decorative scalloped circles to cover the eyelets.

I did a small drawing using the word Fall that peeps out the window. Die cut a bunch of file folder tabbed pages using Tim's Tab On the Edge die.

I then gave the covers a coating of Dorland wax and a good buffing.
