I'm taking a ZOOM class with Violet Smythe , Apr 4, 11 & 18, 2024 - Art Nouveau.

On Canson Pro Layout marker paper using a Zig Writer in Art Nouveau style lettering. Drew in the Deco roses with Juice Up pens and colored with Posca colored pencils.

Done on both Genoa Bond paper & Canson Pro Layout Marker paper

1st image: Zig Writer & Pentel Brush pen to color the larger areas.

2nd image: colored with Posca colored pencils.

3rd image: Pressure release with a Blackwing Pearl pencil.

On Strathmore black Artagain wrote out the 3 Art Nouveau lettering styles we learnt on April 11th as out homework for next week.

I used a white Gelly Roll 08 pen. Colored the counter and or inner spaces with Black Addition colored pencils. 

The top one I kept plain, the next with an olivey/apple green. The third one is my take on Chase Zen Paris Font and colored with a different color in each bulbous area. The last one which is the actual look of the Chase font with only white.

On Canson Mixed Media paper using a Sizzix 2mm embossing tool scribed my words, then with the flat of my Posca colored pencils colored the waves in various blues.
