This was done on a burgundy toned Mi-Tientes cardstock. I started off with outlining my letterforms with a black Pitt pen for the word "thanks", then used the side of yellow chalk pastel and the edge of a pink pastel loosely within those outlines. Used a Pentel Parallel pen (black ink) to do various sized italic letters to write the word "thanks" again, then shadow outlined those with a gold Gel Excel pen.
