My Guild BVCG hosted Viktor Kams to teach us a bit about Brushie Italics...

I've always struggled with brush lettering. I don't know how many brush pens I've bought over the years looking for that ONE that would make me smile...

On Canson Pro Layout Marker paper using watercolors, double dipped into Winsor Blue and Magenta with a 1/4" white Taklon Selectum (23-974) brush. I like this one from all the brushes I was trying... I have a ton of flat brushes... Now I just need to find one in a smaller size that will work as well. I'm liking the results of some of my descender swirly endings. I've always struggled with them... still do.

Below is a pic of portions of some of my practice sheets... for example look at the "b" ending, couldn't get it to swirl... but I LOVE the "g" endings.
