This is the second month of challenges for the Scribbled Lives Facebook group.

ID: "wk 6 - Armenian - I Love You"
Size: 8"w x 5"h

I looked up how to write "I LOVE YOU" in Armenian. I double checked with my boyfriend to make sure it was legible... which it was.

Used Bleed Proof White and 6.0Parallel pen on red cardstock. A 3.8 Parallel pen and Sumi ink.

That's it...

ID:  Wk 7 - Love Songs - Quando, Quando
Size: 6"w x 6"h

Used a Spellbinder's largest heart to draw my outline, then then used the thickness of a pencil to create my inner spaces. Outlined everything with a Micron .02 pen. Added shading with a red Prisma colored pencil.

Song: Engelbert Humperdinck
Tell me when will you be mine
Tell me quando quando quando
We can share a love devine
Please don't make me wait again
When will you say yes to me
Tell me quando quando quando
You mean happiness to me
Oh my lover tell me when
Tell me quando quando quando
Say its me that you adore

ID: Wk 7 - Love Songs - At Last My Love
Size:  9.5"w x 7.5"h

Automatic pen with Holbein gouache (mix of Peacock Blue and Geranium) on Super Deluxe Bee Paper. Letters filled with red heart doodles using a Zig Writer.Text written with a 1.5 Parallel pen and the Holbein ink.

Lyrics: at last my love has come along. My lonely days are over and life is like a song. Etta Jones

ID: Wk 8 - Eva Hesse First Feel Sure
Size: 7"w x 8.5"h

Eva Hesse was supposedly a minimalist... so this is my interpretation of her style.

I had made a couple backgrounds with leftover Bister ink from one of my palettes on Canso watercolor paper. Used my circle utter to cut various sized circles.

Wrote the text in one of my funky monoline styles using both ends of a Zig Writer on 110# cream toned Staples cardstock.

Adhered the circles and voila - all done...

Quote: First feel sure of idea, then the execution will be easy (should say "easier" - c'est la vie). Eva Hesse

ID: Wk 9 - Garden of the Forking Paths - Quantum Mechanics
Size: 7"w x 5"h

Created the background using Ken Oliver Color Burst, watercolors and Sparkles on Canson Biggie watercolor paper. When dry spattered with Bleed Proof white.

Wrote the text with a white gel pen and shadowed the lettering with a Micron pen. The text in the center is the Quantum formula.

Quote: This web of time - The strands of which approach one another, bifurcate, intersect, or ignore each other through the centuries - embraces every possibility. We do not exist in most of them. In some you exist and not I, while in others I do and you do not. Jorge Luis Borge - The Garden of forking paths.
